Defining a unique
brand language

During my five years with the Foundation I had the opportunity to work on a number of different events, galas and sub-brands that required a comprehensive design approach to the development of its identity and subsequent collateral needs. The brand challenge was to ensure that these touchpoints all shared a visual language that was unique to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation brand and wasn’t generic and template driven. Many of the design elements were inspired by the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation sunshine icon and what it embodies: hope, warmth, whimsy, community and the promise of better days. Below are a select sampling of logos designed.
